Lowering Springs

Lowering Springs
I want to replace the springs on my 90 but do not want a big drop (less than 1" or none at all).
Should I go with Ford Racing? Car will be primarily street with a little autocross.
Midwest roads with a lot of holes are my big concern.

RE: Lowering Springs
If you don't care about lowering your car, then just get a new set of stock springs from any good auto parts store. Be a bunch cheaper than "name" lowering springs. I had BBK lowering springs on my '93 for a while. I had constant rubbing problems on the fronts. On an accelerating or powered turn the fronts would rub the upper fender lip. Well, I've got 17X8 TSWs with 245/40 Yokohama ES100 "Z" rated tires as well as an autocross suspension, so I'm not interested in going around corners like granny just so my car would look cool. I took the BBKs out and went back to stockers. JOIBO!

RE: Lowering Springs
bbk doesn't make good springs but a lot of other products are good for the most part...
Steeda or Eibach if ur lowering
FORD RACING is what i'd go with, if your not trying to go more then 1"
1" and then one end is 3/4".... its honestly a perfect set for the 5.0
