My son has a 79 Jeep CJ7, with a tired 258 six banger, 4spd, 42" bald Super Swampers, Moser axles and a welded rear end. It will pull the front wheels off the ground all day long, but won't out run my golf cart (true story). All kidding aside, there's nothing wrong with with pulling the wheels offthe ground if the set up is right.In fact, most racers will try andcarry the wheels a couple inches off the ground for a short distance.
