it fits nicely. the top part of the fan bolts right to the radiator where the original fan shroud was. i made a bracket for the bottom. also the stock overflow tank bolts right up with some drilling. i can take some pics on friday if you want...
as for engine temp i think it stayed about the same. my stock gauge indicates one notch higher than the middle, but i checked the upper radiator hose with an infared temp gun and it said 165. thats why i'm getting aftermarket gauges because the stock ones blow.

I have a mechanical oil pressure, mechanical engine temperature, and volts gauges mounted in my AC center vent. these are the big three that I would start with anyway. after these, I also got a mechanical fuel pressure gauge and an electric trans temperature gauge.
