aod torque converter capacity ??
So I am installing a used stock aod and TC into my stang. I have drained the old fluid from the converter and reinstalled about 3.5 quarts. I did lose some additional fluid (maybe .5 - 1 qt)while mating the TC to the tranny. My question is this. Should I try and fill the TC with more fluid through the drain plug or just install it as is and let the pump fill the converter with the additional fluid once started up?? Thanks in advance.
