Default Speed Density to Mass Air conversion

I'm looking to buy another fox Mustang. Every one that I've owned has been mass air with the exception of an 84 GT350 t-top. I really want to buy another t-top, but I want this one to be fuel injected. I know the last years of the fuel injected t-top fox were speed density. My questions are, a) how difficult is it to convert from speed density to mass air, b) what all parts do I need(I know i need a mass air cpu, wiring harness, and mass air meter, but don't know if that's all I need), and c) how much is this going to set me back?

Thanks but that doesn't actually answer all of my questions. That just talks about connecting the wiring. I still need to know exactly everything I need and how much it's going to cost me. Am I crazy for even thinking about getting a t-top and converting it?

you can usually find a used cpu on ebay for around $100, used maf sensor $30, and get a new wiring harness from jegs for $80

its not hard to do if you follow the instructions

You can piece it together fairly cheap if you aren't in a hurry to build your car, or you can go out and drop cash to get everything you need fast. It depends on whether you want a nice project or something you can do in a week. Also, you have to ask yourself if you really want T-tops that bad. I belive 88 was the last year right? In that case, Maybe you do. Anyway, good luck with the Fox. Let us know how it turns out

Yea, 88 is the last year. I think they only did it the first half of the model year. At this point, I've been Mustangless for so long (only a month) that I'd settle for anything except a vert. When I buy my vert, I want it to be my second car. I really want something I can get in it and drive while I'm working on it. I've had enough ponies to know that they are a constant project unless you're sitting on some bankroll. Thanks!
