Default MAF Meter / Sensor

I understand that eachsensoris calibrated to a specific injector size but are they also calibrated to the size of the tube? In other words can I use my stock 19#sensoron a larger tube or do I have to get another connector?

i purchased a 80mm MAF tube but it did not come with a sensor. can i use my stock one?

no... you are going about using your MAF all wrong. What you think you know about MAF meters is incorrect. Tell us what you are trying to do, and we will help you get the right parts

the answer is yes. the sensor itself must be used in conjunction with the proper tube.

the 80mm tube you have purchased is completely useless to you

(and only aftermarket sensors are "calibrated" to injector sizes)
