As Joel said, it is tunable.

The only difference with any of the MAF ecu's is how well that particular ecu has been hacked out. Meaning... How many of the major tuning parameters/settings have been located and exposed in the Ford programming.

The A9L and X3Z are probably the best developed ecu's for the 5.0HO MAF Mustangs...

ok I just talked to a race car builder that builds mustangs, and he told me that i should use the stock computer..and i wont loose performance. right?

No, you won't notice much of a difference, if any at all...

If the car will get a J3 custom tune, then there is literally NO difference between the 2... they can both do the same things...
The only thing different will be some of the initial settings, which will be changed with a decent tune anyway.


What exactly is the plan here?
