bolt ons and improvement order?

bolt ons and improvement order?
I keep reading you dont need this intake till ya get some bolt ons or a t/b isn`t going to help till ya have heads etc. Could someone lay down a order on stuff. I know it probably varies but gotta be a good set of guide lines right?
example: filter
exhaust/headers
pulleys
elec. fan
ignition
MAF
T/b
injectors
intake
heads
cam
Something like that and I know some need to be together but you get the idea.
I think many people starting out could use this info. including myself.
