intake off of a 91 t bird? pics? is this a good intake? and A9L ecu??
so i got this with the 2 motors i got today it says RF-F1SE-9425-bf so im geussing its from a 91 5.0l of some sorts. it was on this 89 t bird 5.0 but not bolted to it. anyone know about this intake. is the tb better. it only fits this intake as far as i can tell, but the intake matches a stock lower mustang one. also this A9L ecu is supposed to be from the t bird. im hoping this is a mass air ecu ?? i wannna do a mass conversion on my 86..any help is appreciated

looks like one off a 94-95 mustang... and im not too sure itll work on a fox... leave that up to the experts to say on that issue. but that computer is definately what you're looking for for your mass air swap

the 94-95 intakes are differant? f1 means 91 usally on the stamp. like e6 is all over my 86 car, and e7 is all over 87-93 stuff cus its a 87 casting. so if this is a 91 its not off a pony i wouldnt think unless it was a 91 casting on a sn95?? colud be offa lsc too??

thats wierd with that casting #... i think the computers are the same though. just wired differently under the hood to make up the difference...

the 91 t birds are h.o 5L's and have the same intake and smog as the 94-95 my friend has one. so that intake wont line up with your smog i dont think, and i dont know i about the throttle body.

Why bother, it is the same junk that is in a stock Mustang it just has the longer inlet to fit in the T-birds and 94-95 Munstang. You could get a Fox stock intake of of ebay for $10 and have no fit issues.
If your lookingfor a cheap performance upgrade you should be looking for the Explorerintake(same performane and interior porting as the tubular GT-40 and Cobra intake)

yeah i wouldnt waste time using it either,stock ones should be plentyful i know ive scrapped a few.
