relax. i've heard of them lasting 5 years, and 65k miles before. you think thats a lot? cause i sure don't. i have 141k on my original. if it goes at a mileage like this it's understandable. i've never had to replace an ignition module in any of my vehicles. maybe a lot of the aftermarket ones suck. maybe they all do. i'm just saying i'd try an aftermarket one when mine goes cause i'm sure it will.

I called ford about a newTFI module. They told me it cost $166. I looked online and found an Accel for $47. Thats a big difference.

dont buy an accel. you'll be replacing it sooner than you would like to.

Just get the Ford one
