PRO M & Water Pump Q?
Hey all, I have heard Pro-M went out of business and I want a Pro-M MAF, was wondering if this was true as my bro just ordered his Pro-M like a week ago..
Also my water pump went out, should I just get a replacment one or a high flow one from summit or something? I have no cooling issues, but just wondering about reliability.. ALSO would it be a good idea to go ahead and change the timing chain while im in there? I have 121,000 on my engine.. Thanks.

yes pro-m is done
no you dont need a high flow pump. a $35 auto zone pump will be fine.
yes, get a new timing chain. should make the car respond better to the throttle and it will be easier to tune

Cool, I just replaced the timing chain, it was easy, and the old chain did have a little play in it, and the timing did jump around a little. So that's finished, and I also got a Bosch Water Pump rather than a rebuilt one..
Ok, that sux, I went and ordered a C&L 73MM MAF from my local speed shop. It came out to 140 bux, that's an awesome price!
