well i want the most power possible..I have an awesome performance shop in town and I race about every week at Summit motorsports park in norwalk...ill talk to the owner of the shop he will probably say alot of the things you guys already have and then some. If the 347 is more powerful than the 331 and it doesnt have reliability issues I will probably go with a 347. I am just asking what HCI combo would be best because that will probably get done before i pull the block this winter. Thanks alot for all the imput by the way. And I have a BBK 255lph pump and I will change the MAF and injectors when the building process comes along. Thanks alot again

XE274hr Cam
somewhere around 10:1 compression

basic out of box heads, non ported intake, and a small cam and it made 380hp and 430ft lbs of tq

oouhh did i touch a nerve ............all i was doing in the first place was stating that there is no problem with the 347's burnin oil and the rod angle ratio is nothing to worry about.and u are saying **** that is not true and u might have a 331 in your car , but that doesnt mean **** to me as i have built big block fords, small blocks, chevey motors,340's so go **** yourself u whiny little cry baby.

so to the op i am sorry this jackass had to start saying stuff and cry when all i was doing was correcting him and other people on stuff.

i am done with this thread as i have said all i need to say in this thread

I was also wanting to go 331 when i get my dart block so i can push mass levels of boost. I have seen a lot of 347's when they try to build them up with a lot of power obliterating themselves and splitting the **** out of the block. 331's almost never have that problem especially with a dart block. But the 347 is a crazy motor, the guy up the street from me has two supercharged 347's and they're a good bit of fun. There are positive and negative to both don't preach either wy just let the guy make his own decision.

It's pretty good. But for the price they are new, there may be a better choice out there for a stroker motor.
