Default I put the fat girl on a diet

She had just gotten to fat for me. Sure I still love her but sometimes you got to hurt the one you love. She is a 93Gt with a six point cage, sub frames, g-load, strut tower brace, supercharger and intercooler. She went on a short diet back in 98 with a set of aluminum heads and driveshaft but has really let herself go the past few years. So today I took out her back seat since it was useless with the cage anyway. Anyone wanna guess what this pile of old seat weighs? Whoever guesses right I will send them 50$.* Thursday I will be putting in a set of corbeue CR1 seats that weigh 27lbs each. Not sure what the stockers weigh but I hope to shave a few pounds. What else? Im not going to take out the smog pump or AC right now. The AC will be taken out as soon as its stops working and the pump as soon as this states decides if they are keeping emissions. And also Im not going to get rid of all the sound deading material. Anyone know what the fog lights and bar weigh? Does the front bumper sag without the bar in it. Anything else that can be done on a street car let me hear them. This fat girl has to lose some weight.

*money will NOT be sent. Void everywhere.

Well I only weigh 160 as it is. Good idea on the cruise. I have drove across country many times and have never used it on any car. What is the "buber bracing"? Allready got an aluminum rad.

I weigh 160 now. I was up to 205 a few years ago when I thought I could be some kinda bodybuilder The rear seat and all the bolts and junk weighed 55lbs. It still has the seat belt retractors in there until next week so 60lbs give or take. Not bad for a back seat that was useless anyway. Im not so sure taking out the reinforced bumper on a street car is a good idea or not. Give someone alittle love tap at a stop light and that might be trouble.

NOS/408 you can find them on Ebay for like 75$ but trust me make one yourself. Its just plywood and auto carpet. If you ever want to try to make one let me know and I will pull this one out and take some closeup pics and get the measurements. I doubt it will have to change much to fit your 83.

I dropped the spare and jack when i changed to 5 lug. Just hope I dont get a flat. 60 lbs for the AC is alot to take off the nose of the car. Mine has never been recharged so its just a matter of time before I take it off. Here are some pic and measurements of the seat delete if anyone wants to try and make one. It fits my 93 HB so Im not sure how much would need to be done to fit other years. Cut the plywood alittle large and trim it down as needed then carpet it. I will be doing some more weight loss over the next few weeks and will keep a little log myself.
