Default PCV Catch Can

So, I'm about to begin my quest to find out why I'm leaving clouds of smoke behind me when I gun it. I'm thinkin blowby at the rings, but this thing runs like a raped ape and only smokes over 3k hard accel, so I dunno.
I figure a PCV catch can can't hurt anything.

If anyone has a catch can setup, plz post your pics
86 btw, also has about an inch or two more firewall clearance to the intake than my 89, dunno if thats normal for these years.

just perform a leak down test and compression test, that should tell you all about the ring condition
