Default Guess that sensor!!!

the machine shop said that it was just held in with a buttload of RTV, because the threads are toast. What sensor goes here and can I JB Weld it or should I do what the other guy did?

(the one on the right, #5 runner area)

Edit: Theres 2 holes on the #5 runner, the injector hole and this stripped bastard.

Sweet, thanks guys. But now - how should I reinstall the new one? JB weld and tap new threads or you think that RTV would hold it. The previous owner had luck with the RTV I guess, because there was no evidence of a leak

if you can find one big enough use a heli-coil. If not time to upgrade the intake.

I havent even installed the intake yet. Dont think Ill be getting a new one, after just getting it ported as well. The guys at the shop didnt stress over it, so I want to know the best method.

I inspected it more throughly, and found one of the old matchstick sensors in my tub-o-**** and it catches like 1 1/8 threads on the inside, may be enough to just seal the rest with some sort of concoction

Use Right Stuff, its instant gasket, i use it to seal my lower intake to the block, and to cover a leak i have on my timing cover, good stuff
