Default 5.0 swap for 5.0 HO
I have a 87 GT that the original engine has given up, I don't have the finances to rebuild the engine like it should be but do have a 90 5.0 out of a Mercury Grand Marquis that is real cheap (as in free). Can I swap the engine to my 87 if I also swap the computer from the Mercury? Is this possible and how much would have to be changed?

Just swap your old heads and cam/intake off of your mustang engine. The block is the same as far as I know
