Angry lifter noise

hi,
so recently i changed my valve cover gaskets and everything.
A month or so after I am hearing some noise from my lifter on the right side.
Is this some sort of alignment issue?
I have an 89 lx 5.0H0

thanks
jason

it may have dirt in a lifter not allowing it to pump up....make sure the oil is topped off and that there is not an exhaust header gasket leak on that side, cause such can simulate such a noise

I had "lifter" noise and it was a combination of a few things:

Small exhaust leak at H-Pipe to muffler flange
Stuck lifter - ran seafoam in crank case for a few hundred miles then started to use Castrol Syntec with oil changes

with each fix the sound got progressively better, now i don't hear it at all
