You have to know a little about how far you want to take the car, because what might give you the best torque right now might end up starving the engine for air after more mods. If you're going to be daily driving it, and want to have a fast car that still has street manners, I'd say go for the Holley Systemax or maybe GT40s. If you want to take it into the '9s, and it's going to be for the track, I'll let someone else answer that one... Maybe a Victor Jr?

An example: For myself, I went with the Holley Systemax for the motor in my sig. I just want my stang to be really quick on the streets, and make the rice crowd bow before me, but not looking to go crazy on the tracks. I want the car to have really classy street behavior when I'm not standing on the accellerator, so it's going to be a respectable cam without making the car rattle my brains out at an idle.

NA I'd go with a GT 40/Cobra intake...SC the Holley...it all depends on how you want to set your car up!

Default got torque

If you want more low end torque. Ditch the 70mmTB and EGR spacer and put the stock one on. I have dynoed many throttle bodies and they end up losing low-midrange torque just to gain 1-4 horsepower on the top end on stock motors. Just like the old carbed V8s everyone jumps to put a 750cfm carb on a SBF and finds outs there is no power gain, it is too much air for the cam and heads. You can buy a used GT40/cobra intake that will help across the powerband.

just save your money and buy a single turbo setup for your 5.0 and you will feel the torque slam you back in your seat.

just my 2 cents you got to pay to play.

the 70 mil was cuz the dumb *** who had it b4 me somehow mannaged to break the butterfly ive finally got it running good only recently its much better than it was i got that cuz i wanted to spend the money now for mods later im into "making the tuner crowd bow before me" and i was thinkin systomax i was told that trick flow seems better with strokers and gt40 for stock type moters? i would love to take the moter out and redo whatever was done to it and then some but i have no time or place for it. i plan to move to an e cam and heads that im undecided on nothing over the top and would the cobra intake be comprable to gt 40 i was told that also? and are stock heads worth porting or doing valves in?

stock heads are junk.

instead of throwing names and types of intakes, you need to figure what you want? whats your goal? 300hp? 400?

if all you want is a mean street machine with not a ton into it. the GT40 set up would be perfect with xe cam. much better than the letter cams.

i would personally start by telling us your budget and what you want out of it, goals?
