there isn't much difference between the two. it will be sort of slow though. those were heavy especially the convertible. i have also heard that the computer from those years wasn't that great once you started adding mods. (stuff like intakes, and cams)

on the positve side, it is a 5.0 and they are really strong and can last many miles if properly maintained. also parts for them are cheap and these motors can be made to run very fast for cheap. the best mod to do first would probably be rear end gears. 3.73-4.10 depending on how much highway driving you do.

good luck in your search.

The coupes arent really that much heavier. But like Fordguy17 said, the Verts are fatties! I had one! A poweradder could take your mind off of that really quick though .

94 and 95 are the same. I've had no issues and drive mine 68 miles a day to work every day.
Lots of fun to drive. Make sure you find one with the Mach 460 stereo in it.

I see so the convert. are alot heavier then the others. I can see why with reinforcin everything. I wont be doin alot of highway use cuz im just a poor country boy and i dont very many places. I'm defenetly planin on takin very good care of it and addin some HP to it and maybe race it a few times. What is the MPG usally on a stock setup?

MPG is not that good. Get the Vert if you want and dont worry about the weight. Most are slow, coupe or vert so it dosent matter.
