Boxing in Lower Control Arms
Yes I know buying new ones is the best way to go and some think it is not worth the time to box the stock lowers in but I am a cheapskate .
Have any of you accually boxed yours in and see if it helped? I know this little secret is in one of the mustang cheap performance guides and is supposedly good up to 400hp (how they measured that info who knows). I will eventually get new ones but that is in the future but I want something better now.
Thoughts?

I boxed mine and put in energy suspension bushings...works great. You just have to cut out around the rear sway bar if you want to keep it. In fact, I still have my boxed uppers on my car with some adjustable spring pirch lowers and I am vey happy. The only reason I would change them is to get some adjustable uppers to adjust pinion angle.

Well at least I am getting good answers unlike some of the threads in the search option lol. I am gonna leave enough of a space to slide the sway bar back up into it them. I was looking into all the torque box and battle box reinforcements last night and was thinking of what else I could do for really cheap. I figured new poly bushing would help out alot if not more than boxing the control arms but I figured might as well do it too.
