10hp max.

that intake is junk. heads and cam is where the power is at and that intake all effect your end result. IMO find something else.

I have no personal experiance with that intake so I'll just tell you what I've read. MM&FF did a dyno swap on a mildly warmed up 5.0 with a ported Cobra intake. It made (I think) 15 hp and 14 ft lbs of torque at the wheels. It made more power across the board. It's like a dual plane EFI intake. I personally thought the gains were pretty impressive on a mild 5.0. It's a little radical in design but if you can get that package on the cheap I think it would be worthwhile to make the swap and try it. I'd say if you can get it all for somewhere in the 500 dollar area I'd say jump all over it. I'm going to guess the total package will get you 20hp+ to the rear wheels over the stock intake, T-body and CIA. I'd save the injector swap for when add more head and cam.

I would NOT go with that ssi intake... 3 reasons: its ugly, its shape interfers with some access, and I do not think it positively compares with many other choices out there that are cheaper too. If I were you and got the whole package really cheap, cheap enough to sell the intake on eBay and get a few extra bucks I might do that and use the other parts..

My dyno guy did a flow test on a couple EFI intakes...one of the Edelbrock, the Holley and the BBK...out of all of the the Edelbrock flowed the best.Personally I think the numbers speak for themselves in a flow test. Ive always heard that intake to be crap.

Here I dug up an article so you can read for yourself. I don't beleive everything I read in magazine articles but I do beleive the guys that did the install and dyno testing. Most of what you hear is rumor or second hand information as well as what you hear from me but I told you up front I had no personal experiance with it. I know BBK just doesnt cast up some far fetched intake manifold and all the stuff I've used of theirs has been of good quality. A company like BBK doesn't just throw their name on some China crap. By the looks of the dyno graph it make really great mid range power. Thats good for a street/strip engine. As far as the way the intake looks, persoanlly I think it looks pretty trick. opinions vary on that part of it greatly.
