Default Distributor gear question

im swappin out my b-303 cam for my anderson b-31 cam, does anyone know off-hand if i have to swap the distributor gear or a specific one i should use. thanks

if you had a roller cam in there previous with a stock oem distributor then you already have the steel gear on the dizzy and your fine

ok cause i no they make bronze gears and i belive andersons cams are made of billet steal and wasnt sure if i had to change it

I don't believe you need to swap them for such, bronze is softer and will require frequent checks for wear

yea i fgured, i noticed they make billet steel gears also, im going to call anderson tomorrow just to be on the safe side
