hatch wont close

dude did you try just adjusting the rubber bump stops ? screw them down or remove them see if it closes ..one might be higher than the other ..thats probably why you have to twist the hatch to get it to stay closed ..if it works with them out then when you put em back make sure you put them in the same amount of turns on both sides then just raise them up till theres no bounce and the hatch closes ..

i would replace them while there out.latemodel has a hatch "renew" kit.come-on now these thing are cheap to fix and the small things make big differences

took me about 20minutes to get mine adjusted perfectly, and still gotta give'er a little slam to get it to latch tight. takes time, just play with it
