what kind of power difference would one see between aluminum heads with 1.90 intake valves and 2.02 intake valves?

It would depend on the entire engine combonation, what brand of head, induction, how the vehicle is used. In some cases bigger isn't better

if performing a magazine article test as such, most likely none......it'll depend on the combination of parts which will take advantage of the larger valve
