Is anyone running one hear? And how do you like them. I'm thinking of upgrading and I really want to get rid of the nasty wires going to the ALT.

yeah when u buy a new alt... ask the store provider for a new wire harness.. they should have them in stock

yea i got the 1 wire 140 amp powermaster. basically we are now a GM setup. just make sure you ditch that little wire they give you and run a 4 guage if not run atleast 8

before my 3g alt the battery would die if I used the heater on high, the lights and fog lights and stereo.
now I can probably run all that and a bag of chips.
my lights dont dim anymore and the batt gauge always stays one tick above the middle.

whats nice about a good 3G and power master is at idle amps are around 70 to 100 depending on the Alt. now a stock 3G is about 50amps at idle

a stock fox Alt is only 70amps total so at idle its only 15 amps so with underdrives youre just doing nothing

yeah i have a jegs 100 amp 1 wire and its way better than the stock crap they put on these cars....maybe should have got a little bit bigger one but its works great
