Default unusual AOD issue

my car has been sitting in the garage for the last couple months. no time for the track. decided to take it for a spin the other day and about 1/4 mile into the drive oil squirts up the tranny dipstick tube and onto my downpipe which of course causes smoke to billow from under the hood. put some oil in it, tightened the pan bolts (they were loose and it was leaking) and then stuck it back into the garage. tried to take it out today and exact same thing!! quarter mile down the road smoke comes billowing out, i come right back home let it sit and i now have a big oil puddle under the car from it dripping off my DP. what would cause this?? never heard nor seen this before. its even more frustrating because i plan to dyno soon but cant like this

could be severely overfull. filling/checking in neutral is best as the pump isnt engaged in park. other options are the vent is blocked in some way, or the engine cooling system is leaking into the trans cooling system.

its defenitely not full. its been leaking for 2 months and when i took it out it was slipping. i put in a 1.25 quarts just now (all i had at home), took the car out and flogged it. the slip was gone and no oil squirting. tranny pan is still leaking so that needs to be fixed.

The first thing to check would be the vent on top of the tranny. If the vent is plugged, the pressure has nowhere to escape, and it will blow fluid out of the tube. I have a swamp buggy with a TH350 that does the same thing, it works great, but blows fluid out of the tube on every start up. I haven't been able to figure it out in 8 years?
