ran codes, now questions
#11
You know what man, my car has the same problem. it started back in May after I got on it. It used to run crisp when I barely got on it. But now under normal driving, it just seems to lug and feels like there is something heavy in the back. It's very annoying. But when I get on it, it seems to run strong. We'll see how it drives in the cooler months because these temps are just heat soaking the motor. BTW, I am getting no codes for this.

well i wish i could figure out how to get koer to run. it wont get past the test but the car runs fine. it does have intermitten power now through the rpm range. so i know something is wrong but without codes im kind of lost.

After I put a IAC on my car, the code 12 went away.
I will see if I can find the book that came with my scanner. I can't remember if the car signals for WOT or not.
edit: I can't find it. I think it is in my car and my car is not here. After you start the KOER and get the signal for the engine cylinders, see if it gives you a single flash before it starts giving you the codes. If it does, that is when you are suppose to press it to the floor.

I have a 93 LX 5.0 and I was having problems with my car. Once hitting around 4500 rpms it would bog out. Ran my scanner, came up with code 12 as well, along with my egr valve problem, thermactor air problem and something regarding my throttle body. I just ran these codes today so tomorrow when I go into work i'll dig more into it. But the reason I'm posting is, did it mention anything about your throttle body and iat sensor?

no it didnt. i found out my issue though. i have a valve thats hung up. IMO the machinist did not give enough clearance to the intake valve on one cylinder. so i was making 0 compression on #1 cylinder. i dont think the valve is bent because with a slight about of force...it goes right back into place.
