Default wheres your guage?

my car keeps running on the L of normal for the temp. i just replaced the water pump and thermostat is it really normal? where does yours run? thanks. mike

SOunds more like a sending unit or gauge issue. If you have access to a scan tool that can read PIDs, look at what the coolant temp is, or see if you can get a heat gun to read what the temp is actually at...

I have a similar prob, ever since I bought mine the temp has never read in the middle, always just barely into the green
