Default just upgraded my mass air, noticed a missfire after the install

i just did the upgrade to a mass air meter from a 93 4.6l out of a crown vic, ive done this before in other 5.0s ive had, but was wondering if this could be the cause of the misfire or did i just not happen to notice before this?

does the '93 4.6l use the same size injectors as you?

listing any mods in your sig would help us not have to guess...

Did you swap computers/other sensors? You can't expect a 5.0 computer to adjust/live with a 4.6 style part/engine.

no i havent switched anything else, and this is a common upgrade, ive done it on a few other 5.0s with no problems, i was just wondering if a bad maf could cause a misfire.

MAF doesn't control ignition. It meters air and controls fuel.
