swapped a 5.0 into my 93 fox and the engine hadnt been run in a while.. did an oil change and added lucas oil stabalizer to the oil and took it on test drives but the oil pressure seemed to be a bit low. it ran great and only on cold starts was there a knock. i ran it one hour and then drained the oil while it was hot to remove all the lucas and changed it with only oil this time and the oil pressure was still low.. took it on a test drive and it seemed fine then the oil pressure dropped to nothing and it was knocking.. pulled over and shut it off then restarted and the pressure went up and it smoothed out and on the way back home it fluxuated a lot then dropped to nothing as i was pulling in the driveway.. im not really sure what all to check or what all i need to do??? any ideas????

yea thats what im thinking.. im going to pull the engine out tomorrow and remove the pan and probably go ahead and pull the crank and make sure theres no scoring or damage from any knocking that may have happened and then replace rods and mains and the oil pump and hope that the screen is just blocked...??
