Default Throw Out Bearing

So I finally got my new transmission in with a new flywheel, clutch and pressure plate as well as a new pilot bearing. Everything looked in good shape and now I am thinking I did not look close enough at the throw out bearing.

When the car is stopped and I disengage the clutch there is a sort of ticking noise. Everything I have read online points to the throwout bearing. Anybody got ant other suggests or is that the likely culprit?
