I have an 89 5.0 hatchback with an HP Turbo stage 1 turbo kit..everything else is bone stock. I drove the car for about 1000 miles with no issues after install. This year a problem has developed where there is a loud rotational squeak noticed everytime I turn left when the electric fan is on. I have tried to swap out the water pump pulley to stock from underdrive, new tensioner, new belt...and still squeak. Its weird the noise only occurs during left turns and when the engine is at operating temperature (electric fan turns on).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I am ready to dump this damn car

Can you reproduce noise while car is not moving? If so, rack and pinion.

only when there is torque on the motor..it won't happen when the car is stopped or on a lift...its driving me nuts! I can't even pull into a car show without everyone turning and looking at my car because its so loud and embarrassing
