since ive only had this stang a few months, ill try to answer all of your questions to the best of my ability...

Quik: so i was wrong about the intake, get off my back already, do you always rag on the new guys? im just telling you what the guy i bought it from told me. about the radiator, there are no overheating issues so i dont see the point of getting a new one. if you want any more details ill start a new thread and you can flame me all you want if you have nothing else to do.

wildstang: it doesnt clear the stock hood; hence the cowl. i could take a picture from the side if you want.

catalyst: what, i said that one other time and that makes it every time? its all good natured anyway, maybe you need the sarcasm detector..

Obsol3te: dont know what numbers its making, but it came with 340hp and 360 torque stock at the crank. do you know of any good places to get it tested in NJ?

if youre going by what someone else said then hell your car could be making 5000hp, and its not ragging just trying to clear **** up. lairs on this board will get pointed out. not saying you are but liars will get pointed out

you keep bringing up you have a 351, like its gods gift to a mustang. i could tell you this having a 351 doesnt make you fast. its the entire combo

also if its a worked over 351...now is it a 358 or so?

I THINK HE MEANS HOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT CAME WITH STOCK, WHAT IS STOCK, WHAT DID IT COME FROM B/C I HAVE NEVER SEEN A STOCK 351 MAKE THOSE #S. IF YOU MEAN A STOCK LONGBLOCK THEN TELL US WHAT COMPANY, OR DISTRIBUTOR YOU GOT IT FROM. and my 87 has the stock 302 and it sits just as high as yours in the engine bay thats why i asked. maybe you got dropped motor mounts i dont know. quik will point out anything he sees, trust me, i know from experience, as i was the new guy a month ago and we went at it, that was until i realized he knew what he was talking about, and i guess he realized the same about me. YOU CAN END THIS BY TELLING US HOW YOU KNOW WHAT THE STOCK #S ARE IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT THE MOTOR IS.

never seen a motorsports 351 longblock with those numbers, and infact a stock 351 lower wont work with a cobra upper. what heads are on it?? anyways, dont worry about it, i believe you, but you really shouldnt be bragging as you arent making but around 300HP to the wheels, and 345RWTQ, if infact you do have the motor you explained. i think what quiks problem is, is simply you are bragging about something you bought, not built.... and indeed you have no idea what it is, or what its putting down, simply it could be a rebuilt 306ci with an intake, headers, and such bolt ons.

i dont know guys, he could be pulling the numbers out of his ***, and firts look at the motor pic i was like, whoopdy-doo. but a second look makes me think it is a 351 because the intake really is a considerable higher. not trying to back anyone. but i just think of where my intake tube runs, and its not at the hight of the shock mounts, its about inbetween the motor and the shock mounts. plus, i dont think my a tower brace would clear that at all. either way, its a ******* stang, and to the guy that got his thread trashed, the progress looks good and good luck. keep updating
