Default Coolant leak.....

My car just started leaking coolant a couple days ago and it has 137,000 miles on it. I know a coolant leak can be a number of things but, does anyone have a general idea of what it most likely is?

Where's it leaking from? What side of the engine? From the radiator?

Check your radiator for leaks then, it may have a hole, perhaps from road debris kicked up in the fornt (if you have a deleted grill), or possibly blew out a freeze plug/drain plug. I know i blew a freeze plug in my 90 SHO, but then again, the thing overheated within 5 miles. Best bet, if you don't really know, is take it to a mechanic and tell em the problem. Just be wary if they try to shortchange ya :-p

I just went out and looked at the leak again, and it actually appears to be coming from near the passenger side tire, at the back side of the engine.

Did you check your headers? or the exhaust joint? (pipes to headers)
