Default E-Brake Tightening

Can anyone tell me if it's simple enough and how to tighten my E-Brake? Or is it worth the $65.00 to have a shop do it?

Look in your repair manual, mine needs it too but I'm not going to pay a shop 65 bucks to do something that I can get done for free.

you have to drive the car in reverse kinda quick then pull up on the brake and it'll adjust it, do it a few times to make sure its tight

look at the back for the drum and you will see a small strip of rubber. behind the piece of rubber is the star wheel to adjust the e-brake. take that piece of rubber out and put a screw driver in there. use the screw driver to turn the star wheel and adjust the ebrake.

I adjusted my drums and the ebrake is still loose. There is an equalizer right behind the crossover of the stock h pipe. I believe the equilizer bolt is under the center console and tightening it with the rear wheels lifted will adjust it to a tighter tension.
