my biggest question is is this normal?? my stock alt never did this. and also the only accessorys i had on were lights , raido, and blower my volts seem to drop an awfull lot should my alt. be charging more?my stock one wasnt to much lower than that at idle. i feel like if i added my electric fan my car would be struggling to keep up. thanks

At idle speed the alternator(3g) will not provide enough voltage, charge should be checked around 1600rpm. Do not use the stock gauge to determine voltage as they are not accurate, hook up a DVOM at battery and see what you have.

X2....also do a load test on your battery too, check for belt slippage too. Double check your connections (especially grounds), you did run the high out put charging wire too, right?
