Question I have a question about my intake manifold

Me and my dad have a 1991 Foxbody 5.0 5 speed were working on for a father son project & were arguing on how to paint the gt40 intake. He wants to send to his friend in Florida to get it powder coated but were in New Jersey. But I wanna get it painted by a good friend of ours who is a pro painter. What would you do for a budget project? I'm guessing to ship it to Florida from NJ and back atleast $100 and to get it powder coated another $100 easily. While to get it painted maybe $50? I'm going off the top of my head with numbers but what would you do for a nice clean project car?

If i could get it powder coated I would powder coat it. However it depends on the price and I'm sure you could find someone closer to do it.

Powder coating is much more durable, and its really not too pricey to do. I wouldn't send parts clear to florida though to do it, you should be able to find local powder coaters.
