About to replace my exhaust setup...
Well I had an exhaust leak, and I think the headers are just shot, but my concern is what if its not an exhaust leak at all..... there a slight metallic pinging sound almost, and I think it's a leak and it sounds like its coming from the headers. Could it possibly be some sort of other tapping?

Exhaust leaks tend to sound like tapping when they're up front in the engine bay, but the metallic pinging description could also be pre-ignition detonation. Have a buddy cap both pipes with his hands and you should be able to hear a general location if you have any leaks. If the pipes are "smokey" from the weather, even better, you'll see the cloud come out of the leak.
