Oh wow I figured it'd be better to run more meth than water that's kinda interesting so I assume that the water evaporates?

no my kit is 50 state legal and retains the egr. you should still be able to run your egr even with the air pump disabled on your car if im not mistaken. in order to keep from flagging codes you will most likely have to have a custom off road tune written that prevents the monitors from running

the alcohol evaporates at lower temps then water absorbing heat, and the water provides a quenching action that helps prevent detonation.

Hmm well I'll have to look into it further itd be nice to get rid of it to clear up the engine bay a little bit but I might just leave it if the smog pump isn't required to run it

I saw that it has like 30-40% methanol in it and you can add heet to it to up the percentage

i prefer to not use window wash due to the dye that they add to color it, it leaves a residue and will over time plug up the nozzle. you can of course remove it and clean it, but using distilled water and meth results in a liquid that has no trace elements to collect in the nozzle. that and by the time you add heat to a gallon of window wash you are spending the same or more than making it yourself, and you know the % of meth is accurate. just my preference

no need to add heet to the version I buy, has darn near 50/50 mix and never plugged my nozzle, going on two years and I often check it and as far as the blue dye.......just a very very small dot of evidence, not worth making a fuss over for me....to each his own

I'm not disagreeing with you by any means lol I'm sure buying the washer fluid and adding heat is just as expensive I was just sayin they had a whole list of other stuff you could use instead of just using meth and water
