won't start after accident
My daughter got into an accident wih her 98 v6 mustang..mostly drivers side fender damage. We tried to start to take to get put back together and it will not start.but does turn over...already replaced the fuel reset switch and still no luck..starting to get frustrated..

Trying the reset switch was a good guess. I'd try checking the battery and cables/connections just to make sure it's cranking strong enough, then maybe see if it will run for a second or two on starting fluid. If so, there's a fuel delivery issue.

Spark is pretty easy to check on these since they have the old style spark plugs and wires. You use a timing light to see if you have spark without disconnecting anything, or you can use an old spark plug, disconnect one spark plug wire (I'd use the $4 tool to avoid damaging the wire) and hook the wire to an extra plug-ground the extra plug and have someone crank the engine. It's important to have the plug wire hooked to a plug that is grounded to avoid letting the voltage in the spark plug wire get too high (with no load). It may damage the ignition system if you don't.
