Center Console
Hello all. I have a 1994gt Convertible that I bought last year and Ive been working on it slowly. Ive finished with the brakes rotor and brake lines. Well now I'm working on the inside. My problem is the car was missing a lot of things and things were unplugged. I pulled the center console and the entire harness was not connected and I found the main plug under the carpet. The harness that runs in the center console I numbered them in the picture I know what 1 and 4 are. Can someone tell me what 2 , 4 and 5 are...Thanks for the help

Center console, huh? Hmm. I'm afraid I don't recognize the connectors off the top of my head. Number 5 looks familiar, though; I think it might be for the power socket forward of the shifter. I'm guessing that #1 is the main feed that ties into the rest of the car? The others are probably for stuff like the cigar lighter, ashtray illumination, fog lamp switch, convertible top switch, and the park brake switch.
You know what, if you go ahead and hook up connectors 1 and 4, the others should be right in the neighborhood of their proper locations. You should see little holes along the way to fasten the wiring in place with those little white harness push-clips. Once you have the harness in place, there won't be a lot of possibilities for where the connectors need to go.
