Well, like I was saying I want to it right so I am not going to rush into buying anything. If it takes a while to save up for what I want then I will do that. I have plenty of body work to do to keep me busy. I was originally thinking I would take a look at the block once I disassemble the engine. If the block looks good I was going to have it bored out and use that to make my stroker. Basically I figured I would save some money that way. Otherwise, I will just have to buy a new block. What I am wondering though is if I am not going to build my engine myself is it better to shop around and buy all the components separate and have someone build the engine for me or just buy a crate engine that is already all put together?
