yea but would the 4.10 speedo gear work for my car? its got 4.11 gears...

my 88 has a tranny that came out of a 93, my speedo says 85mph, the car that the new trans came out of said 140, but the old cable works with the new trans, is my speedo still accurate do you think? and if not how could this be fixed? anyone?

the gear for the speedo is in the speedo.swapping gauages shouldnt make a big difference. i think the cables are the same. just different drive gears in the tranny
