Do you have a pressure regulator? Why can't they lean it out? IF they have a tuner there they should be able to set the pulse in the injectors directly and play with the whole fuel system? What timing are you running? Check vacum leaks?

If you are using a chip, have them change the fuel table.
If no chip, lower the fuel pressure.

my timing was set too high at first but they lowered it to around 14ish and they said my regulator wasnt adjustable or somethin wasnt adjustable so they couldnt lean it out. how do i check vacuum leaks?

Spray Propane or Ether around the lines and lower intake while the car is idling, if the engine revs up then you found a leak! But dude you gotta get a pressure regulator to figure the pressure, and it will run rich until you get one or get the thing tuned either way you have to spend some cash!

+1...get a fpr, the areomotive regulator is pretty cheap and it works great
