Default high flow or standard flow?

I need a new water pump and i was looking at getting one of the high flow pumps off summit, but today i was talking to the shop and they said: actually the high flow pump would run hotter because its trying to move more water out of the motor. True? so he suggested getting a standard flow with a 3-4 core rad. what are you thoughts?

the thermostat really decides your temp. Id go with the high flow, sounds like alot of bs. If your not running massive horsepower you can stick with your stock radiator

get a standard water pump for $35 at autozone and a 180* mr gasket stat and youll be fine. thats what i run along with a 2 core (stock is 2 right?) radiator and with over 400rwhp i never over heat. the high volume pump will be more of a drag on the motor

the high flow will work better, make NO mistake. The difference is how much better with the horsepower you have. How much HP do want?
