393 in a 94gt

Default 393 in a 94gt

I have a 94 mustang gt and i had a 351w built to 393 ...to replace the 302 what can i use to modify the computer to run the injectors like a 351 ......maybe someone has performed this swap before ..thanx for all replies

they make intakes to keep it fuel injected if thats what ur asking, trickflow and edelbrock make some and then u have to get like a sct chip burn to fix the computer issues from what i understand

i have the intake and all new accesories like new mass air meter and throttle body,new injecters and fuel rails. but i was wondering about the computer ..

yea take it to a shop that does custom burns and they can burn one to make it all work. there is one around here that does SCT tune's i would start there. i have a 95gt and am thinking about doing the same swap but ur already a lot further along then i am

it wont be long and ill post some pics ..still in build process but i should have been done took some ..i got a custom strut tower brace yet to make cause the 393 sets bout 3 inchs higher and i need a cowl hood ..but ill post some soon

before you take it anywhere what is the firing order on your 351? because rember people are motors are 302w that means they use the 351 firing order

useing back factory motor mounts for now ...i believe that the 5.0HO that came out of the car has the same firing order as the 351w..not positive but i think it is ..
