dont know what this part is.

i have a 90 gt, automatic. several times already ive had problems putting car into park or drive.
ive had to get under car to put cable back in place . how can i fix this.

Pull trans out and buy a manual. What cable are you pulling on?

TV cable? Mine has actual linkage. Mine gets kind of hard to move because my exhaust melted off the rubber cover that holds in the grease.

Speedometer cable? Plugs into the tail shaft, the retaning clip may have fallen out?
