Default which heads?

i am bulding a 306. i have a forged bottom end with TWR L2482F flathead forged pistons, comp cam xtreme energy XE274 hyd. roller cam, speed demon 650 carb and a victor jr. intake. i am looking to go low 12's with this setup and i am wondering if AFR 185's will do the trick? Also will i have valve clearance problems with these heads on my motor?

Most def. Many choices other there also. I'll soon have a similar short blockand most likely be running the 185s.

RHS 200's all the way. The flow more air than AFR 185's and will give you more power out of the box. Let me know if you have any questions, hope to hear from you soon.

TFS, remember, it's only a 306 and it possible to use too much head and then you have something that won't make power till 4000RPM or so.
I use TFS twisted on my 306 and they are almost too much head....
I also have a carbed motor that is simalar to your except for the pistons.........
