Question about heads

I have a set of 289 GT40 heads off of a 1967 Shelby, are these heads a good swap option? Did the gt40 heads change since then? These heads dont seem to have valve seats, is this okay? thank you

'67 Shelbly did NOT use GT-40 heads as O.E. equipment.
Look on them for casting/eng numbers. Should be something on the order of C5 something or another......
