Default wheel bearing replacement

What is required to replace wheel bearings on an 88 ssp? do I need to pull the pumpkin?

yes you would, you have to pouned them out from opposite sides at least from the way ive seen it, but if your going to be back there you might as well gear the car as well

If its only the outer wheel bearing you will just have to pull the axles and use sorta like a slide hammer to get them out...Then you can easily drive them back in...With the correct tool..but a big socket that fits on the outer edges of the wheel bearing will work just fine also..

i used a big socket like stangpower96 said and it worked good. when puttin the axles back in make sure you don't wreck the axle seals.
